The 12MP clarity is honestly overkill for my driveway but I’m not complaining—every license plate is crisp even at night. Setup took a bit of patience with the PoE wiring, but once it was live, the full-color 24/7 feed has been flawless for two weeks straight.
I was worried night footage would look grainy, but the 24/7 full color mode completely surprised me—even at 2am I can make out faces and car plates clearly. Setup through PoE took me under an hour, and the 12MP detail makes zooming in on my backyard feel like I'm standing right there.
The night footage is what sold me—even at 2 a.m. the full color clarity is stunning, not that washed-out black and white. Setup took a bit of patience with the PoE cabling, but once it was running, the 12MP detail on my driveway is sharper than I expected for the price.
